NORTH BERGEN, NJ — Residents got to take part in an ice cream social and received flu shots sponsored by Active Day Senior Day Care. Thanks to Mayor Sacco and the North Bergen Board of Health, all NBHA building residents have been able to get a flu shot at no cost.
“Many health experts say that the flu shot is more essential this year than ever before,” said Executive Director Gerald Sanzari. “Let’s not forget, for some, the seasonal flu can be as dangerous as contracting COVID-19. Additionally, with today’s ice cream social, in conjunction with our various partners have had a free ice cream social at each one of our buildings.”
