NORTH BERGEN, NJ – The North Bergen Housing Authority is one of the recipients of this year’s Resident Opportunity and Self Sufficiency Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The grant will permit the North Bergen Housing Authority to expand free services and form community partnerships over the next three years to better serve its residents.
“We are very proud to be a recipient of this prestigious grant,” said Gerald Sanzari, Executive Director of the North Bergen Housing Authority. “Over the next three years we will be looking to expand the our current services such as: health screenings, financial planning, job training and other initiatives. I would like to thank our entire staff for their hard work, they were instrumental in securing this grant.”
The nearly quarter million dollar grant recognizes the North Bergen Housing Authority excellence in providing outstanding services for their residents and gives them the authority to expand upon these residents to accomplish a better overall resident experience for their senior, disabled and low-income residents.
